This article points out very important things. There are many problems with the current healthcare system. However, the financial burden that having universal healthcare coverage would place on American people who work, would be astronomical. The problems with health care most likely could be fixed. This process would take years. They should be addressed one problem at at time. One that was not mentioned in this article is lawsuits. I haven't heard anything mentioned in any forum so far, about the lawsuits brought against doctors and hospitals that most likely could not have been won in court. These lawsuits are settled for the main reason it is cheaper to settle than fitght them. This is a big reason healthcare costs so much.
