Mr Roberts; usually I agree on many points you state, but this time saying Mr Krugman is wrong in that the government should spend more to help us out of the recession. Pray tell who is left. Capitalism will not, 16+% unemployed and underemployed will not and those who are still working cannot pick up the slack. The Feds collect unemployment taxes and it's there for a purpose. Some state allow for 6 months unemployment and it's over. It is a year since it hit-the-fan how are these souls gonna keep going. They need what is necessary and all else waits. There are damn few full time jobs and not many in part time. This is gonna be a world of hurt for a few years more. Also what about the children. Life is a daily challenge and change happens.
