what a shame that our story has not been accepted by the eastern american historians.as a decendant of spanish colonists in new mexico, well before the mayflower ever was mentioned in history books, my antepasados settled in northern new mexico and had made assimilations with our native bretheren.i am proud of this forgotten chapter of American history, but Iam also perplexed by a faulty ,if not fictitious, history proclaimed by anglo-american historians.we were here at least a century before the puritans and had already established trade routes and mutual harmonies since that,so called "first thanksgiving"! let the history (eastern american history) books be re-written to a true historical American History.
