I totally support Steve Chapman's take on the David Gillespie fiasco. How the state of New Jersey, through its courts, can come to the decision they did is incredibly mind boggling. It reflects a manner of thinking that depends on looking at the facts and coming to a conclusion based on their domain of not knowing what they don't know. We all know that discrimination at any level based on race, gender, religion and sexual persuasion is not acceptable. I know, I know that discrimination exists and can be legislated but some don't know, they don't know that everything that looks like discrimination may not be so. In this instance, discounts to women, when it comes to a bar, is good business. There is a dynamic involved when men and women gather and socialize and look to pair off. Gillespie's actions reflect an attitude of wanting to pick a fight just to make someone wrong. There is no greater racket in life than making someone or some group wrong; it makes the complainer right. There is no greater motivator than being right at some others expense, it is intoxicating. Come to think of it, Gillespie should get his intoxication from alcohol and it may relax his tight ass.
