You asked the question. Because the mysteries of life have nothing to do with your/our bloodline. We are all family. It's the denial of that truth that makes people feel "in the dark" and want to search out their lineage. How can you really? Babies have been made since the beginning of time. Slavery, rape, conquest. This entire world has been conquered/pillaged by one warring tribe after another. People sold into slavery, pillagers making babies and leaving. Look at all the American babies in the countries we occupy whos fathers are who knows where. We're all from the same bloodline. You can trace your roots back to the begining and meet all your relatives. At the end of your quest, where will that lead you...where you started. You will still be you. Those who can trace their ancestry back through time still do everything you do and face the same limitations and questions you face. You will still be left wondering who you are and where you came from..really. Maybe you need the inner "knowing". It's only from a sense of lack that we seek. Good luck with your quest.
