Couldn't agree more. I'm burned out and turned off with all this "fight" rhetoric. The last thing we need is another fight. What good would it serve this country to have a corporate lapdog and a pitbull with lipstick making the decisions? You talk about a fight! Children fight, dogs fight; we need cool heads and sharp minds in office. We've suffered under "the cowboy" and as the cowboys did to the Indians, "the cowboy" did to us. Now they want to give us "the mavrick". Will "the mavrick" have a shoot out at the ok corral or just gamble our country away?

This country doesn't need a fighter, we need a leader!

Re: liz Fair questions. Now I've got some for you - a deeply corrupt, socialist Chicago politician (and darling of anti-American terrorists & assorted bigots) is a more palatable alternative than a "corporate lapdog and a pitbull with lipstick?" I won't even respond to your moronic comment about the "cowboy." And I think just the opposite about the "fight" business. McCain is down in the polls not because he's fought too much...he is down because he's tried too hard to be a nice guy. And I don't just mean on the campaign trail, I mean throughout his political career. He has pissed off conservatives (the base of the GOP, without which no Republican can win) again and again - McCain-Feingold, amnesty for illegals, the Gang of 14, the list goes on and on. Sure, I'm disgusted with Obama and his legions of starry-eyed disciples...but the worst of it is that the entire country will have to pay for your short sightedness if he wins. Get ready for YOUR (yes, yours too) taxes to increase, and for the United States to suffer a major terrorist attack in the next four years, being that our enemies will see a paper tiger int he White House. All because you and yours were so hung up on getting rid of the "cowboy."

The country does need a leader - one who is also a fighter. What it doesn't need is someone who sits in the Oval Office asking, "Can't we all just talk this out?" That's not leadership...it's cowardice and capitulation.

It saddens me when someone who is supposed to be spreading the word of God uses his pulpit to preach his own fear and hatred. People will think "their God" is stronger than "our God?" Wow. That isn't preaching God's word; that's preaching hatred and prejudice, and as a Christian I consider that to be the most un-Christian behavior imaginable.
Yes, if Obama wins and he doesn't deliver what the country needs, we will all suffer. People voted for George W. Bush twice, and now we're all suffering for their choice. That's the risk you take, no matter who you vote for. The same could conceivably happen if McCain wins. Since I'm reasonably sure taxes will go up no matter who wins (remember the "Read My Lips" speech?), I'll base my vote on the issues, and not on the candidates' religious practices. As far as I'm concerned their faith is none of my business, and the founding fathers declared as much in the First Amendment.
