It's the Deficit, Stupid

It is increasingly clear that Barack Obama — in a delicious irony — may be sunk by his own deficit. As the old recession, which started under George W. Bush, stubbornly pushes unemployment ever higher and the new recession, caused by the deficit, raises interest rates and inflationary fears, the public will increasingly blame Obama's big spending ways for both.

Wrong. Guess again, you dope. Read a little of what Krugman is saying, flawed as he is, read a little history. You can't just call this a bummer of a hangover and go back to the same old aspirin to face the day. We rely on government to lead us out of our anarchistic excesses, which is exactly what the Wall Street funny money episode demonstrated all over again. Those clowns, with us in tow, left government far behind there fantasy voyage, and we look at the wreckage all around us, now that the ruse finally came to light. You may hate government, but without it we would still be living in caves listening to idiots like you, and really believing that the stars are the candles of the gods. Maybe you still believe that. By the way, the earth revolves around the sun, not vice versa, and yes, evolution is what really happened. Get a real job, Morris.
