It's a Bad World

Here are some news items from just this past week:
In Tibet, according to an Associated Press report, "police opened fire on hundreds of Buddhist monks and lay people who had marched on local government offices to demand the release of two monks detained for possessing photographs of the Dalai Lama, Tibet's exiled Buddhist leader." At least eight died.
In Iraq, the mass murder of civilians continues while American and Iraqi government forces continue to battle murderou ...

A powerful article, all these lives sacrificed at the altar of their bloodthirsty God. It is the interpretation of their holy books which they use as justification for their evil deeds. That's what's going on worldwide today. People being sacrificed in the name of religion, none of us better than pagans, really. Evil has fooled people to commit the very evil they rage against, all in the name of God.

You are so right about what human evil is doing. And yet in most churches, the people are taught that Satan is responsible for this mess but at the same time, God is sovereign, so He is in control. So, ultimately what they are saying without knowing it is that it is God's fault for this messy, evil world. You are right. It is man's fault. Not Satan's, not God's. This is what should be taught in the churches. But it isn't and probably never will be.
