"A tax, regulation or subsidy can make the difference between an industry's success and failure. If the government were not giving preferential tax treatment to ethanol, the corn farmers and ethanol processors would have to find something else to do because their product can't compete against regular gasoline on a level playing field." -JS

Can anyone around here honestly add and subtract?

What else does our military do at a recent 3 trillion dollar expense, according to retired World Bank Economist Joseph Stiglitz other than protect access to Mid East oil? We already know they can't protect NYC. and their own Pentagon. The interest alone on debt for protecting that part of the world makes what we pay for gasoline at the pump only a down payment. What we pay for gasoline today is closer to $15 a gallon, if not more.

What's worse, telling me I shouldn't buy E-85 because 51 cents goes to the Oil companies for mixing it with a little gasoline, or not telling me what I am really paying for gasoline?

Hey Creator's!

How about letting an Ethanol Expert and Ecologist David Blume write a few pieces for your distribution network? I can put You in touch with him...
