The problem with your logic, Roland, is that Hillary, as limited as her experience was, was actually elected. In 2000, there was no Democratic front-runner as Giuliani was expected to win the seat but was forced out of the due to health reasons 5 months before the election. Hillary was seen as a long-shot but the only name strong enough to run against him. When he dropped out of the race, the Republicans replaced him with Rick Lazio who a little known Congressman from the 2nd District and he was crushed. I have no love for Mrs. Clinton but to dismiss her experience in government before being ELECTED (and this is experience going back to Watergate) is dishonest. Ms. Kennedy's only contribution to the world is the fact that she's another Kennedy. So now you have an un-elected governor, appointing a completely unqualified person to the Senate based solely on her name and and a left-wing agenda. If Ms. Kennedy wants to be a U.S. Senator, she should run for the office like Mrs. Clinton did.
