This article is a steaming load of tripe. Your comparisons of Obama to Hitler and his followers to fascists would be laughable if they were not so hateful. Fascism, by definition, is the politics of the far-right. This type of divisive rhetoric bodes ill for the future. Editorials like this one are creating deep, perhaps irreparable, divisions in this country. You state that the reaction of Obama's supporters are comparable to, "...old newsreels of German crowds in the 1930's..." The same could be said of the delegates at the Republican National Convention as they bleated like trained sheep,"U.S.A...U.S.A...! You and Limbaugh, and Olberman and all of the other purveyors of division do a great disservice to your country, your profession, and yourselves. This type of "journalistic" drivel speaks volumes about your character, your professional integrity, and the very nature of your soul. Pray that God will forgive you because I surely won't and America should not.

I THINK THE ARTICLE IS BRILLIANT,ARTICULATE, AND SO CLEAR THAT ANYONE CAN SEE WHAT IS GOING ON IF THEY ARE NOT BLIND TO THE HYPE. I HAVE BEEN WATCHING THIS AND SEEING THE SAME THING THAT HE IS REFERENCING IN THIS ARTICLE WONDERING......HOW DOES ALL THESE PEOPLE BUY THIS HYPE.....HE(OBAMA) DOES NOT HAVE THE POWER TO DO THE THINGS HE SAYS HE WILL DO,HE DOES NOT STATE WHY HE DID NOTHING IN THE DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS OR WHAT THE DEMOCRAT CONGRESS DID THE LAST TWO YEARS,HE JUST REPEATS OVER AND OVER TELLING PEOPLE PHRASES THEY WANT TO HEAR WITH NO BACK UP OR PLAN THAT TRULY IS REALISTIC IN WORKING FOR THE U.S. OR HE IS SPENDING THIS TIME REPEATING PHRASES OF PUT DOWN ON THE OTHER PARTY......BUT NO REAL SUBSTANCE ON WHAT HE WILL ACTUALLY DO AND HOW HE HAS THE KNOW HOW OR EXPERIENCE TO DO IT OR EXPLAIN WHY IN THE WORLD HE DOES NOT HAVE MORE EXPERIENCE AT THIS AGE AFTER GRADUATING COLLEGE AND BEING A SENATOR, OR REALLY MAKE CLEAR HIS WEIRD TIES TO MUSLIM PEOPLE IN THE PAST THAT ARE RADICALIST,THERE IS JUST ALOT OF THINGS ALL EMPTY RHETORIC TO THE POINT THAT I CAN BARELY STAND TO HEAR HIM SPEAK ANYMORE BECAUSE IT IS ALWAYS THE SAME BULL REPEATED AND IT MAKES ME BORED AND SCARED AT THE SAME TIME THAT SO MANY PEOPLE ARE SO DESPERATE THAT THEY BELIEVE THAT HE WITH NO EXPERIENCE AS A LEADER AND HAS AVOIDED LEADING................CAN BS SO MANY PEOPLE THAT ARE LISTENING. I AM AMAZED. I AM NOT SAYING MC CAIN IS GREAT EITHER BUT BETWEEN THE TWO TALKING ,...AT LEAST I HAVE BACKGROUND OF LEADERSHIP AND BRAVE FIGHTS TO FIGHT FOR WHAT IS RIGHT AGAINST HIS OWN PARTY WHICH IS
BEYOND RARE....SO I CAN TRUST WHAT HE SAYS MORE THAN OBAMA WHICH HAS NO HISTORY OF
DOING ANYTHING BUT TALKING BIG AND PRETTY....AND NOTHING BUT TALK. WHAT IS THE U.S. GOING TO DO...........IF OUR CITIZENS BELIEVE THIS AND HE IS ELECTED AND THEN HE IS THE HITLER.NO ONE REALLY KNOWS THIS MAN.HE IS HALF WHITE,HALF BLACK,HALF MUSLIM, HALF ATHEIST, CHRISTIAN IN A
PREJUDICE JUDGING CONDEMING CHURCH WHICH IS WHERE HE FOUND HIS CHRISTIAN BASIS. IT IS ALL TOO SCARY AND I DONT THINK ANYONE REALLY HAS A CLUE WHAT IS AT STAKE IN THE U.S. THAT ONE WAYWARD MAN COULD DESTROY THE U.S. EVEN MORE SO THAN IT HAS ALREADY BEEN DESTROYED.
CLINTON...A DEMOCRAT PASSED THE EASY HOUSING DE REGULATION THAT STARTED ALOT OF THIS....
DEMOCRAT OR REPUBLICAN HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS RACE......IT IS ABOUT THEIR PERSONAL HISTORY TO BASE THEIR WORDS............OTHERWISE IT IS TOO BIG TO GAMBLE WITH SOMEONE WITH NOTHING BUT WORDS.

Good job Genius you must be an excellent reader... except that the article doesn't compare Obama to Hitler. He compares Hitler to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Maybe try reading an article before "bleating like a trained sheep".

Re: Slick The implication of the article is that Obama is the next Hitler. This is the way it will be interpreted. Please read the response posted by jc ross. So Slick, perhaps you should reread the article and advise your like minded friend to not to post with the "caps lock" key engaged.

Amazing the fear Barak Obama evokes. His admiring crowds have been compared to those of the Messiah and now those of Hitler's crowds. What exactly do you fear? Comparing Obama or his crowds with those of any other time is pure fear-mongering hype and drivel pushed forward by the media and the irresponsible politics of those running against him and of those who just don't want to see a black President of America. The rest of us see Barak as he is, an educated, eloquent black candidate, with faults, but the best candidate for President; he just might be able to help and improve our country. Get over it.

Another thing to note, after reading the cap lock post of jc ross, he states "...that so many people are so desperate....". Unfortunately, jc ross, that is the truth, many people are desperate due to the Republican reign of the last eight years. Due to the complete greed of our government, a global economic crisis is at hand; due to greed and fear, we invaded a nation. The Republican's have successfully collapsed our economy and that created a domino effect which is collapsing the economies of other countries. With no money, how can one finance a war either from a defensive or attack position? People are desperate, everywhere. As many negative things as you may find against Obama, unfortunately you will also find against McCain. Neither candidate is worthy, go back and look at all the speeches McCain gave, very discouraging. This is not to endorse any candidate, just to say this is not a time to allow fear to rule. Peace.
