Huckabee: The 2012 Race Begins?
by Roger Simon
Mike Huckabee is not planning on going gentle into that good night.
Huckabee conceded defeat in a speech on the evening of March 4. But hours earlier, he made clear that he isn't leaving the stage quietly. "I may be in a position like the pitcher who goes to the bullpen," Huckabee told me. "He is not on the mound, but should something happen, he is ready to come in for relief."
Should something happen? As in, should something happen to a 71-year-old presumpti ...

I AM NOT AN EVANGELICAL!!!!! I AM A HUCKABEE SUPPORTER! I am sick of people refering to all Huckabee supporters as such. He is a much better man than any other candidates left, I fear for our next 4 1/2 years.

Mike Huckabee has been the most energized and well-liked candidate in the 2008 presidential race; now, as one of his many supporters, my hope is that he will be chosen McCain's VP.

As a fellow supporter of Mike Huckabee, I also would like to see him as the VP. Unfortunately I don't think he will be chosen by McCain. The media was too biased about labeling Huckabee as "a former Baptist minister" and neglected to focus on his 15 years of government leadership. The average citizen is too lazy to get information on their own and lets the media decide for them. We now see a race with three senators (who have been campaigning for over a year and not doing their elected jobs) who claim to be able to fix the very problems they've created. I think Mike Huckabee stands a good chance in 2012.

Huckabee is finished. He has no character, is not a conservative, and made a complete fool of himself in too many ways to count. He should not be invited to speak at the convention because he is an embarrassment to the GOP. He should be denounced and shunned for his shabby anti-Mormon dirty deeds. The only people who want him are evangelicals who believe all elections should be about religion - theirs. Now is as good a time as any to show them that elections are NOT about religion, and the GOP is NOT all about them.
Please Huckabillies, do your homework about this man! He does not represent the Christian faith with all of his lying, ignoble actions, petty remarks, and shameless use of religion to divide conservatives.
