What a dopey idea, revisionist history once again. Mr Buchanan forgets Churchill was a voice in the wilderness calling the Hiitler and the Nazi's a threat long before most in the west. Mr Buchanan thinks Hitler would have played nice with british because he like them. Hitller had one goal and one only, for Germany to rule Europe and then the world. Churchill believed Hitler was a great threat to western democracies and had to be stopped at all costs.
Shame on Mr Buchanan for presenting this nutty idea. All war is unnecessary, but Hitler left the free world no choice.
