Sir;... Your article reminds me of a time on some Philosophy forum where I laid out the principal of conservation to myself in public only to find that what I had once taken for granted, and thought out, and worked out in great detail was a quality essential to all rational intellectual activity, the grasping of which is a marker in itself of a child's cognative ability... What you are now figuring out, America has long ago figured out; that the lack of imagination, the bull headed-ness, the inability to take the advice America has spent millions to give to him, and the billions spent because Mr. Bush would not take it were enough to put a negro in the presidency... Now, admittedly, the black man is everything Mr. Bush is not...He is educated and intelligent, and even when he tries to be funny he is not a clown... It is an amazing sight to see a grown man, a president, trying to make a failed argument with swagger and insult... We just don't get it, ya know, okay; because were stupid, and he's the decider spending his political capital on candied googaws, and shillybobs, and things that go bang...  Mr. Bush is a little bit slow, but so are you... No one can be elected intelligent, or educated, or cautious... It is a big mistake to elect people to such great power and give them no creditable check or balance... If you let the drunk guy drive because he can't sing you may live to regret it...Well; America has lived to regret it...And it doesn't matter that some people are congenitally incapable of admitting a mistake... Others are incapable of telling the truth; but enough people knew the truth, and admitted a mistake to change the course in this country...You are just a little behind the curve... It is sometimes difficult to tell conservatives apart from the simple and slow...Thanks...Sweeney
