The corporations have paid for, and been handsomely rewarded for an economic system, enshrined in law, whereby all profit is privatized and losses are public. Only in a nation where the average person is so uninvolved and ignorant, could such a system be in place. It is ironic, that so many people, especially conservatives are homophobic, that these same people have been taking it dry and seem quite accepting of what has been going on for the last 30 years.
