Like PCR I've been saying this would happen and it did, only sooner than I imagined. Our arrogance is revealed by stating we will borrow $700 billion, which would obviously come largely from foreigners, but what if we can't find customers? Would you loan money to us? No f'ing way. There are no more super powers left and the sooner we realize that and cut our $612 billion "defense" budget in half, the better. A $300 billion military budget would be three times larger than the next biggest, Communist China, more than enough for legitimate defense, but not enough for world hegemony. Learn the lesson America, grow up and live within our means, which are still quite large.
