Ma'am;... I have a question for you...How long do you think it is going to take for people to realize that persons and personalities are not the solution to our problems that all the people together are??? There is not a solution to great power... This country has grown... As it has grown our democracy has not expanded, but contracted... Power tends to corrupt... But what is the point of sending people to weigh your problems against the interests of others when that is no guarantee your problems will ever receive a fair hearing??? I know plenty of people in this country hate democracy... I'll bet you do... They even hate majority rule, which is not democracy -if they cannot manipulate it in they direction they desire...But if we will save this nation it will be through democracy, and there is no proper substitute... When this country had no great river bridged, and with primitive technology, it could still afford one representative in congress for every thirty thousand... Can we afford only one representative for every six hundred thousand??? Every problem we have comes from loss of democracy... Keep you personalities... Individuals are not the solution...The people are the solution... Thanks...Sweeney
