I think the left wing version of Un-American is very different from the Right wing of it. You see if we got the Olympics without the annointed one going over to Europe and purely on the merits of Chicago as being a worthy place to have it then there of course would be no problem. However politics being what it is the Right wants him to fail, just like the Left wanted Bush to fail. Call them Un-American because that is what is expediant for today because they (the left) might be able to play it into healthcare. I argue that this is what is Un-American about the left. Investigating and potentially prosecuting CIA agents for handling terrorists with anything but kid gloves, Congressmen referring to our troops as murderers. Politicians apologizing to the world in such a way that would make it seem that we (Americans) were no better than Nazi Germany. Anyone even insinuating that Bush knew about the 9-11 attacks. And this hack columnist somehow gets attention with this? Sure I wish that the Olympics came to Chicago, I grew up outside the place. But I also feel that it is somewhat amusing that "The risen and his wife" were arrogant enough to think that just showing their face in the one of the socialist countries that they envy so much and coming home with nothing is also quite amusing. That is what the GOP is laughing about. If it were Bush that had gone over there to get the Olympics in Dallas and he had failed the same crap would be coming from the likes of Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, not only that but they would insist on an investigation and numerous apologies for wasting tax payer money. Un-American....whatever
