Why is it always only the mother's rights that matter? Why doesn't the baby ever mean anything to liberals? They want to live in denial and refuse to accept that the mother isn't the only one involved, and that the baby is human too. It's not about "keeping the government out of a woman's reproductive decisions", it's about protecting the innocents who cannot speak for themselves. We need candidates who are willing to uphold the sanctity of human life, ALL human life. I don't udnerstand why society can't get its collective head out of the sand and simply accept that the unborn child is human. It's not a terrible thing to protect its rights and uphold its personhood, to accept that it's a human being and not just something to be thrown away if unwanted. And the reality is that America is slowly waking up to just that fact; the polls show that the numbers of prolife supporters is growing. The truth is that even though it's slowly, America is realizing that legalizing the killing of babies was wrong, and one day it will be a thing of the past. Some want to keep justifying it the way slavery used to be excused and justifited, but others are realizing thate the truth won't be denied, and one day the unborn will be protected as full human beings under the 14th amendment just as blacks eventually were. The constitution guarantees all Americans the right to "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness" and it's time to truly ensure those rights to ALL Americans and stop discriminating against the unborn. Yes, Guliani is a wimp, but it's because he refuses to go all the way and take a stand for the unborn like so many other republicans have.
I say stop going on about "abortion rights" and take a stand for the rights that really matter:Those of the unborn child.
