When will our people stop taking credit for this country and its bounty and start giving credit to the source? When things don't go well, they blame God, yet God set it all at our feet and we trampled it. Not God's work, man's. I don't always agree with what you say but I do agree that we were once a nation of strivers and pioneers who made a lot of mistakes, but at one time we put God and God's Word first; and that should never be forgotten.

Sir;.... I would appreciate Christians having a seat at any table, and along with that, to have them pay their way. I am a Catholic and a pretty half hearted Catholic at that, and the reason I am not a better Catholic is that I am a first rate human being. All the Christians want to do is grab power. They all defer to human authority and they all act like it comes from God. Why ask me to help you get a seat when you have God on your side. Tell him to get out of the wagon and push. Quit carrying God into every difference you have with other human beings. If you want rights, don't think you are going to pick them off a tree. We give you your rights. We give ourselves all of our rights and perhaps with the help of God, but not if you listen to the Christians. They are no different from the Muslims in limiting human rights. Where have they ever worked to secure the rights of all??? No where! The churches are the enemy of rights, and the government, like every community, was created with a purpose of securing rights. What rights do the churches support but their own??? Do we have the right to peace??? Not if you ask the churches who give no one peace. Do we have the right to justice??? Not if you ask the churches who give no one justice. If you deny your human rights you can join a church. They leave you free to take what you can and bless God. God blesses the player with the best hands.... Well; I think you ought to pay for your rights. I think you should sacrifice for your community, and if that is your church, then do not expect any more from me. The United States is my community. For that I pay the sacrifice of taxes. From that community, I then have the right to demand protection for my rights. If you are in the business of attacking rights, and making people hard pressed jump to the defense of rights because you find they do not benefit you, then you are my enemy, and the enemy of liberty. Rely on your God. Ask me for nothing. I will give you nothing if you mind your business and keep to yourself. I owe you no more than this as a human being. I do not owe you special treatment only because you represent a divine being. You people are only power hungry, and whether you choose to use God to defend your cupidice means absolutly nothing to me. You are no different from criminals and thugs. God is your buckler and your shield, but a coward hides behind it... If your aim is to destroy rights, stand up and shout it out. Don't look for a monument to religion. Try to deserve a monument for defending liberty...Thanks...Sweeney

"And the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance" Psalm 33:12. Thanks, Chuck. Stick with the KJB. As your first president said, "It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and the Bible [KJB]." Abandonment of both has produced the current chaos.
