Washington Post columnist Kathleen Parker recently penned a provocative column titled "Giving Up on God," wherein she suggested that the Republican Party ditch G-O-D. The piece so rankled James Dobson (Ph.D. in divine insight) that he compared Parker to that seditious bum Benedict Arnold.

Sir;... When people need desperatly for government to work; enough good Christians take sides with the rational people in society and against the brain dead, living on faith, extreme radical religious right... Don't worry... There will always be some towns, cities, and even states where faith will turn elections...Where I grew up the faiths get together to parcel out city offices, and they gotv. And another neat trick they have is to send petty criminals to jail for a more than a year and a day when they can... That means they don't have to bear any of the cost of housing them, because they go to state prison... You have to watch those Christians every minute... They may not sacrifice you at Banbury Cross like the Heathens, but they get their blood.... Thanks...Sweeney
