Sir;...If Mr Obama's policies are not faring well in public opinion, will anyone be told??? Well; you can bet politicians read the poles because that is as close to democracy as we get.... And if it is public opinion why would the public need to be told about it??? So; politicians and public know.... Did I leave anyone out??? Or could it be that you folks try to manufacture public opinion with every questions you ask??? I think you don't get it... As much of a real voice as the people have been allowed, they have already used... It hasn't changed any minds...Republicans are still refining their tired old ideologies... The pragmatists are still trying to make things work in the face of undeniable failure... D.C. has got more hope than a cancer ward, and less reality than ever before....Consider the picture of life in St. Petersburg, and the last glorious balls at the Winter Palace...Do you suppose those people thought their world would ever turn, or that all they knew would be swept away??? What about the glorious patriotic revolt of the Confederate States... Do you suppose those people thought their defense would so soon lead to the ending of slavery, and to the destruction of the South??? People hang on to the past at their peril, and no one hangs on with whiter knuckles than the reactionaries to a failed past... So carry on... Your success leads directly to your demise... Or as they said in the past: Who the gods would destroy they first make mad... The conservatives are mad...Who can blame them???  They let themselves get beat by a negro, and they are not even playing basketball...I'd be mad too... Thanks...Sweeney

Personally, I could not be more thrilled than to see the Bush policies thrown out with the trash because they got our country absolutely nowhere.
