Thieves are still thieves, and con men are still con men, no matter if they call themselves Democrats, Republicans, conservatives or liberals.
Thomas Paine told how past aristocrats had made government appear "mysterious" to the common people, which only aristocrats could understand. This allowed the Noble con men to fleece their subjects for centuries. He also told how citizens had adopted the "slavish custom" of following leaders. What in today's government isn't a mystery? And don't we take sides and blindly follow our media and political leaders?
