Last month I reported on a list of people banned from Great Britain compiled by Britain's Home Secretary Jacqui Smith. The list included Michael Savage, host of the third-most-listened-to radio talk show in America. Savage was listed along with terrorists, murderers and advocates of violence.

I respectfully disagree with you Matt on the Sotamayor comment. I do agree that everyone should be allowed to give their opinion no matter what it is. The difference is that she is being looked at for a position in the highest court in the country. A court that has to look at cases and find if they are constitutional and upon finding in these cases they become the precedent. Constitutional has nothing to do with Race, Sex or sexual orientation. Thus by bring her race into the equation she has made herself seem impartial. This cannot be allowed to transfer onto the bench. You will polarize things, if one judge feels that Sotamayor is always ruling in on direction based on facts that shouldn't be weighed they might become inclined to vote the other way to balance things out. We shouldn't be looking for a way to counteract the republican judges on the bench but find an intelligent canidate that will preform their job well. Sotamayor is not that canidate and Obama needs to pick again.
