Sir; The best bet for the republicans is a constitutional amendment forbidding anyone with a brain from voting... Look how hard the republicans worked for Terri Shiavo when they won't work for any living person who does not have money...Why??? They were counting on her vote, and the votes of all as dead between their ears as her... But you can hang up the idea of a constitutional amendment... And if we cannot amend the contitution we cannot fix the constitution; and so it, like us, will be broken and damaged no matter how much glue we inhale trying to fix the thing...It is normal for forms to fail people, and normal for those forms to be replaced... If we have lost the ability to heal ouselves with change, we have also lost the ability to forgive and to forget... But I don't think you are the problem, or the republicans, or the democrats... The enemy is the form of our government which no longer serves our needs, and yet; we love our constitution like a child may often love a parent who batters them...
