Ma'am; Does it surprise you that democratic voter concerns might be republican voter concerns? Without you pin headed journalists rubbing grease and caca all over everything, maybe we could get close enough to talk things out without you'uns. There is a fundamental difference in the view of rights held by democrats and republicans. They are both wrong; and both right, but not far from the truth. Without parties making the rest of America seem like martian invaders, or lunatics; we could resolve our differences. I say: If some one is sowing division when unity is essential; see what is in it for them. What is in it for you? You bring up Jimmey Carter. I like Carter. But Carter dared to tell the truth when it might have saved us all untold suffering, and given us a leg up on the future we now face flat footed. That ain't what we wanted to hear. Reagan told us what we wanted to hear; because he believed it himself. We are not buying bad news. If we want bad news we will read the newspaper. No; the Republicans have run us into a ditch, and the democrats want to tell us they can run us right out of it, with run being the verb of choice.. Just like the last time.... I could have had another child on what the Reagan deficit cost me. The Bush deficit will cost a lot of children their lives. People will look at their budgets and say: Not tonight, Honey; the country has a head ache. But; the ammo the democrats could have fired at a bad economy has been given out to keep the good time going one more day. Never mind that the bridge needs repair. We will cross that bridge when we come to it. Never mind that before our eyes we are robbed of our rights and of our government to serve a single class. It used to be that what was good for the rich was good for the poor. Now, the blood that sustains them is coming directly from our veins. So don't be surprised if the democrats all start to sound like the republicans and the republicans join in talking about how to save the country. You better hope they do not join in seeing you as you are: just another parasite feeding off those who give you the right.... Thanks... Sweeney
