I see "pragmatists" everywhere I look in the Republican Party — those who say we must always be more concerned with not offending so-called moderates than with advancing our principles. The irony is that no one is less pragmatic, in the end, than these self-styled pragmatists because their prescriptions are a recipe for failure.

Most recently, of course, the Republican branch of the political correctness sect insists that we must not oppose Judge Sonia Sotomayor's nomin ...

The recipe for failure was provided by the true believers in the Bush admistration who asserted that Iraq was going to be quick and cheap. These guys were stupid enough to "think" basing our Iraq policy around Ahmed Chalabi was going to work for us. If Repubuclicans can't do any better than dishonest moron's like Rush Limbaugh and Dick Cheney they are stuck being the party of idiocy, lies, and nastiness. Mr. Limbaugh seems to be saying that one must be stupid and dishonest in order to be a Republican.....One certainly needs to have those qualities to go along with his brother and Dick Cheney.
