Fitzgerald is a politician (unelected) himself.
He was slated to be unemployed when Obama was inaugurated this month along with all the other republican US attorneys. When he took this case prematurely public he probably blew the case, but he also probably made it politically impossible for Obama to replace him without claims that he is part of a coverup.

Ma'am Governor B. reminds me of a world class thief I once worked with... That guy would steal you blind, steal a nickle, or steal a million dollars, if it were possible, and all with the same calm air of a man going to fetch the mail.. He gave me lessons... Always look up...  Not to  see if God is peeking, -stupid... There might be a guy up in the trusses, or on the roof... And this one: If you are ever caught; just lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie.... I hated liars so I knew I could never be a thief...But then, that kind of closed the door on politics too.... Thanks...Sweeney
