Sir;...The constitution is a piece of garbage... How dare you to expect Mr. Obama would follow it when no other president in recent times has??? In fact; The house of representatives does not follow the constitution... We should have no more than one representative for every thirty thousand... WE have so many less...How is that for a legal loophole??? How much rotten government has been driven through that one??? We now have one representative for every  six hundred thousand... What that has meant for some state is one representative and a narrow miss of two... How can a whole state have half the representation per person as another??? It has been known to happen...And look at how every one of those districts is divided... How many are made safe???How many of the opposite party are left without representation??? In fact, the parties have representation... The rich have representation.... Where is the single representative answerable to thirty thousand who will vote their needs before all others??? We could have direct democracy... We could vote on every issue... The result of no democracy; of democracy denied by design to ease the management of the house should be clear... The people's house should be the people's defense against tyranny and plutocracy... Clearly, the constitution has not met the goals the framers set for it... So let's change it whole sale... Forget piddling change... We need to change our form of government...We can handle it... Any one can do better, and we cannot do worse...See if you have the nads to sit  down with a constitution and scratch out all that does not work, or that you don't like.... Leave everything you can build a nation around and start writing...Thanks...Sweeney

Oh, this is so rich: "The better procedure is to trust the professionals at the Census Bureau." Yes, we should trust ALL the professionals in government (that would mean including environmental scientists, too) to do their job without political meddling. But I'm sure you won't go that far, will you Barone? Why don't you tell us just when it is okay to substitute political "wisdom" for facts and when it is not, so we can all understand the higher purpose behind the W administration's undoing of just about everything the professionals in government, i.e., those who had nothing to gain personally from their decisions, tried to do during the last eight years.
