If by "conservative" Mr. Limbaugh means "dumb enough to swallow the lies and idiocy of his brother" conservatives are extreme. Right-wingers tend to value idiocy, dishonesty and nastiness as evidenced by the popularity of Rush Limbaugh and his ilk. Their tendency to "think" that disagreeing wiht them makes one an enemy of the state makes them a very radical bunch. Dishonesty idiocy and nastiness are right-wing rather than conservive tendencies. Both Limbaugh's are examples of the sort sleaze that characterizes the right wingers these days.

Re: James A, Sweeney Hi James Sweeny, You mentioned that you study History and Philosophy. Those are the subjects I study these days. Like Napolean, who said: "History is the one true Philosophy", I consider History to be a branch of philosophy. I concentrate on ancient Greece and Rome but I read a lot of other stuff as well. I very much like Hellenistic Philosophy but I study other stuff also. Almost nobody seems to read our comments about the articles so I thought I might as well send you a friendly note.

Sir;...I'm extreme, you're extreme; and we are all extremely extreme.... Liberal is an unsult; but then, so is every label...Is the right lable better at pasting on lables when the liberal labels are sitting on their satisfaction???. I wish words could express how stupid you sound, and how stupid we all sound with this nonseness keeping the focus on each other, persons and personalities -when our problems are something we should not personalize, but fix...As long as you are the impediment, and I am the irresistable force, or vice versa; clearly the problems must wait on a solution while we are mired in universal hatred... Who ever thought this nonsense up, of majority rule, of dividing the people by parties, and of throwing consensus out the window should be dug up and shot... The difference between our form of government and democracy is too great to span...Democracies demand consensus... Why??? It is because the cost of division is the destruction of ones society... We sit back while we are robbed by the rich, and our concern is nonsense ideology, or religion, or rights, or how to destroy rights...If we cannot agree, we cannot agree to fix our problems, or even to agree that we have a problem...We have finally reached a point where we cannot avoid admitting we have a problem... We have not yet reached a point where we do not attack others as the problem...Let me tell you what you are about...You are building a tower of babble...You are building a monument to babble....Government should be the place where we can talk to each other about our problems and find a common solution...You want to rob us of our means of reaching a conclusion....If I could imagine hell, it would have to be driving somewhere for a million miles with you and yourself in the back seat arguing about who said what when, and who called who what, and why... Have you not got nothing better to use your precious time for but blathering drivel...Buy a life if you cannot do better with the one you have...Thanks...Sweeney
