Ma'am;... Why don't you gay folks stand with the republicans??? I mean, I realize the democrats are the party of everyone else, and hardly a party at all, and more like an association of left outs. The thing is, that just like the republicans, you embrace freedom even if it is not morally acceptible... Obviously, capitalism, free enterprise is a legal use of freedom; but the moral implication of capital, its destruction of the environment, its war, its unemployment, its failures like this depression, or crime, or widespread ignorance, or neglected infrastructure, the theft of resources through the hijacking of the political process and the injury to all those who are destroyed physically and spiritually by capital- Can Not be thought of as ethical even if it is legal... Come to think of it, compared to capitalism as a moral cancer, homosexuality is a moral itch... I have no doubt that society has the right to say what behavior is moral, and any activity that does not support life, or health, or bring children into society will always be seen as immoral... On the other hand, among savages who were the most moral of people, acceptance of homosexuality was common... Why??? Why the difference between us and them??? Primitives needed every member even if they were homosexual... The rights they had, like our own, were the result of community, but the community could see that it was the result of the people... WE have people to spare...People think they can spare the homosexuals... I think we can spare the capitalists... In our crime comedies the tragedy of an evil one driven from society is seen from the point of view of society united by driving evil out... Now; Everyone is excluded, and the unity we seek eludes us... We have to remember that communities are formed out of a common defense of rights... It does not matter how many are excluded and deprived of their rights because the unity comes from a defense of rights... If you cut people out, and you get away with it, you only convince all people that their rights are hanging on a whim...Thanks...Sweeney
