Thanks, Chuck. I note your reference to Colonel James Stewart (dec'd), who flew 20 combat missions in WW2 with the 445th Bombardment Group as a B-24 Liberator pilot and later served as group operations officer with the 453rd BG. He set a fine example of an American who loved his country.
I've nearly finished Black Belt Patriotism - a most inspiring and practical read. Thanks again for this work.

Thank you Chuck, well said! I'm afraid that a lot of folks are caught up in the dialog and miss the point. For example, my sister and I, on the surface, are die hard liberal vs conservative, respectively. We frequently travel together, but to ease the rancor, I tried focusing on the issues instead of the individuals (ie Bush, Keith Obermaniac, etc) and we discovered that we actually agree on MOST of the issues. But once we started bringing the characters back into our debate, all was lost. I think you are right, we...all of us need to think in terms of what is right for our country instead of what benefits our latest political action hero.

Sir;...Why so you persist in calling yourself a conservative? You are a reactionary. Do you want to know what a conservative acts like? One of my prime examples is the late great Margaret Mitchell, wife of John Mitchell, Nixon's AG. She was the one who said: there's J. E. Hoover,... when you've seen one FBI directer you've seen them all. And she would like to get tanked and drop a dime on all those crooks around Nixon because the Bill of Rights actually meant something to her, as it does to all conservatives. There is no revolutionary that is not a conservative holding on to the rights we have and trying to grab the rights we need. Thinking you can vote someone out of their rights on a majority of one means you miss the entire point of a society, which is a society only so long as we provide a mutual defense of rights. That is what families do. That is what tribes and nations do, is defend mutual rights. You want to turn people away from each other on the basis of some damned book of lies written by the Jews, of all people, to justify their crimes and documenting their failed society for all to see, and you think that makes you a conservative? You are an enemy of freedom. You are an enemy of morality which is the quality making all of mankind a family... Tough guy my ass. Tough guys don't have to take nothing from no body. You don't have to thieve some ones rights to be a tough guy. Every jerk who thinks he deserves special treatment wants to do that. You are the run of the mill. Factory made. Defend rights and you will be a man. Until that time you will just be an old baby in a beard. Thanks...Sweeney
