Bravo! Mr. Roberts, you perfectly outlined what is wrong with Obama's budget, which also provides some color on the fact that his foreign policy won't include much "change". He certainly is a good sales guy. He sold me the idea that he was a moderate and not a left-winger. As a true conservative and an anti-neocon, I no longer put the 'Republican' label on myself. I think these party labels prohibit us from thinking clearly in choosing our lawmakers and the President. In addition of course, the Republican party these days hinges on support from extreme religious followers and the neocon; not a good combination at all! I just wished the Republicans, the intelligent ones (yes ... the 'elite' ones!) would take leadership roles in the party again. Maybe now that the private sector doesn't look that great they may come back to politics and rid the Republican party of the Limbaughs and the neocons (Perle, Feith, Wolfowitz, Abrams ... and even that 2-faced Lieberman guy).
