WASHINGTON — The Obama administration's remarkable inability to say or do the right things to aid our sinking economy, stay the collapse of our equities markets, or even build a competent Cabinet is now the stuff of cartoons, talk show fodder and late-night comedy. Who hasn't heard the one about how "this year's IRS 1040 allows every taxpayer to claim one Geithner or a Daschle, depending on how much tax you don't want to pay"? Though I be a Republican, I did not trust you in your bid for office. You must have done it without Reagan's approval. All you had to say was "I am being honest."
Obama is a good solution to the problems of our recessionary decline. To just say the Treasury print more money or let the Fed have banks lend more money out will pan the economy, though. That is, it has to be stimulated to produce better quality in more quantities, if demand exists in an industry--it doesn't in banking!--with more division of labor, more innovation, and higher wages, which will drive up interest rates, inflation and pull down the exchange rate.

Sir;.... This article must mean you are all cleaned up from your experience of international war crimes.... Since you are a virgin again, let me offer a suggestion.... This titanic economy has been headed for this ice burg of fate for a long time....Now, Mr. Obama is trying to turn your economy around....And I mean that figuatively because you may not have any more of a pot to pee in then the rest of us; but clearly you identify with the rich and propertied class... So; now that we are finding out that our economy is all bubble and no air, you object to Mr. Obama throwing some glue at the problem...Rationally speaking; what have the republicans done to help the situation???Rationally speaking; what did the republicans ever do but try to make this problem worse in clear evidence of the danger???? I mean, the rich were behaving for many years like the rich before the great depression, risking all, tearing down regulations, essentially trying to die with all the loot.... They were playing russian roulette, and Obama gets the blame for not stopping the bullet in the barrel...Now, I know your honor is a thing of the past...You can play the part of a born again virgin, but it does not mean a thing to me....You are working for a living, and you moan when the customer says: Moan.... But I am not buying a bit of it... You are crooked, and not at all reformed...But the society should be reformed, and the economy too... And if Mr. Obama cannot get the dead horse economy up an running it will be reformed, whether you like it or not...So, think again, and try to help the man because he is working for your class, or should I say, the same class you serve....Thanks...Sweeney
