Thank you for your intelligence, clarity, common sense , and obvious determination and sense of obligation to speak out strongly in these times. In light of the current tone from our President and his administration, I almost chose to acknowledge your courage, but I refuse to concede to intimidation. It should not require courage to speak out in this country. It is one of the most basic rights of all Americans and I consider it a duty. Obviously the person who posted the comment #1 would prefer that your rights be reduced.
I consider all of your columns extremely accurate and I particularly like the 2 most recent. I do not have the obvious ability that you and my other favorite columnists have to clarify the situations at hand. I am thankful for the ability to share more clearly my concerns after reading and learning from the likes of Mr. Thomas Sowell, Walter E. Williams, Charles Krauthammner and you (you're in great company...right?!). Keep up the great work...we need to hear your voice. I share these columns with everyone I possibly can. And by the way, thank you for being one of the few who quoted Govenor Perry correctly at the T.E.A. parties...which I attended in opposition to big government and its gross overspending....my sign..."Proud American Capitalist".
