All Too Quiet on the Western Front

by Rhonda Chriss Lokeman

There is something sinister in the way Dick Cheney had us believe George W. Bush was still president of the United States, assuming he ever was.

Bush's position and titles were manufactured in the White House Situation Room. This becomes painfully apparent as his term winds down.

Excellent article. Some of us weren't sleeping and thanks to the internet and Michael Moore's great documentary, we were able to discover the facts behind the news which was so obviously manipulated and speeches so obviously spun. Unfortunately, you are right, complacent, apathetic, who knows, but most American's just didn't want to believe. All those stutterings by Bush, captured for posterity on internet videos. Would you believe this man is running our country? No...how in the world did he even become President? Oh, yes, I remember now. Jeb, you're the man! Do you think he had some unfinished family bizness with Daddy? Why didn't anyone else's antenna go up when Bush the 1st stopped speaking about his son's presidency. A great conspiracy of silence, broken only by the great Michael Moore and internet sites few American's care to visit. At the end of his term, only now are people waking up. But, it took an economic collapse and 4,000 dead (How many it too many? How much is too much?)and Bush, well, he's travelling around the world saying good bye to all. Yes, he'll ride off into the sunset on his vinyl saddle, a wannabe President, demoted again to a wannabe cowboy. He had a good time, his wife remained silent...hmmh, she wasn't so silent before the war. And his Mom & Dad, well, I guess he showed them! That's one happy cowboy! And don't forget Cheney. He said he would never run for public office again. Guess he'll just be so busy counting all the money he's made from his "investments".
