Ma'am;...I guess it is my obligation to inform you on the limitations of reality... The reality is that all the support health care reform has now will evaporate once the corporate fear machine gets cranked up into over drive...Part of the problem with divided districts and divided government is that the politicians have to be constantly aware of how near they are to defeat; essentially, a few percentage points of swing voters...From that perspective the advantage will always be to the attack, and not to defense...It wrecks the ability of government to be active, and proactive, and forces it into reactivity... They are consumed with covering their esses... Doing nothing can always be justified on one point or another...Doing something that may possibly turn out well, and may not turn out well is an invitation to bushwackers and snipers from every quarter...The American people will have to feel satisfied with whatever gets done, though it will not be enough because it will be far more than anyone with money in the game wants to see... My bet is that absolutely nothing good will happen... They may tax the fringe benefits of the union man to pay for the poverty medicine of the poor; but the commonwealth will be saved...If it were me, I would take it on the check and forget about health care...I would make the government pay, and see them collect it from taxes no one can afford, and if I get sick, then declare bankruptcy... If the object is to see the poor driven into ruin for the profit of insurance companies, then let them go to hell...Too many are without insurance for people to be profiting on those who do... They will always say they are not cutting too deeply, or drawing too much blood, and yet parasites inevitably kill...In fact, if we must ration health care let us do it for rich and poor alike... Let us all have the same, and then the rich will stop their fear mongering and join us in the search for quality medicine... Until that day, let us face the facts... The chance of any bill getting through congress that in any way limits profits, or competes with the private sector is unlikely... So, no matter what they say got done; nothing will change for the better, and so the situation will grow worse until it fixing it cannot be avoided...Today the solution is still avoidable...So they will avoid the problem and the solution...Thanks...Sweeney
