Most women wanted to hear one thing on Wednesday from Eliot Spitzer.

We didn't care about his future plans to serve "the public good," his lamenting "what could have been" or how bad he felt about letting down his fellow New Yorkers.

Maybe next time, some aggrieved wife will grab the mike and holler, "You son of a bitch! You rub my nose in manure, and then expect me to stand here with you and tell the world that your behavior is okay, you're just human. Well, so am I, and you're not okay. You're a spoiled rotten bastard who thinks it okay to humiliate your wife, and expect her to approve. Not me Buster. Get out of my life and go play with your toy girlies, and leave me out of it!!"

The problem with "real men" like the governor and those who commented so blithely on his behavior is that they are in, and have been so long in positions of wealth and power that they don't think they're better than everyone else, they know it as fact. They are emblamatic of our country and it's arrogant, bullying manner with respect to the rest of the world. As has happened to Mr. Spitzer, we too are nearing our day of judgment, and the economic blow being readied will be fearful.
