If you want to play the "What if" game try this one:
Hillary Clinton gets screwed by a cheating husband TWICE.
Certainly this is conjecture but very plausible. What if the mistress story about John Edwards comes out BEFORE the Iowa caucus instead of eight months later in August?
Everyone thought Obama was a long shot going into Iowa. Hillary was a lock. Obama wins with 16 delegates, Edwards 15 and Hillary 14.
If the story came out and Edwards had to back out
BEFORE the January Iowa caucuses, many think those
voters would have gone to Hillary. She would have won
Iowa and maybe Obama never gets traction?
Of course, hindsight is 20/20.
BTW, another what if ...
The State of Illinois held it primaries on March 16th, 2004. Obama easily won (29% over next closest opponent) the Democratic nomination and would face Jack Ryan who won theRepublican nomination by 39% (12% over next closest opponent).
Jack Ryan was married to (and has a child with) Jeri Ryan
who is famous for her role as Borg Seven of Nine in the
Star Trek movie, Voyager. Most recently she was a Friday
night regular on CBS'“Shark” with James Woods. After the primary the media wanted to know more about Ryan's divorce.
The child custody papers were sealed until the Chicago Tribune gets a judge to unseal them. The records revealed Jeri Ryan's
accusations that Jack Ryan would take her to sex clubs and
seek "unusual" sexual situations.
Ergo, Jack Ryan, just 10 points behind Obama and closing, resigns his Republican nomination on June 25th, 2004.
The Republicans couldn't get anyone to take the nomination
not even one of the seven other Ryan primary opponents.
So African-American Maryland resident and former
Presidential candidate Alan Keyes moves to Illinois to be the
candidate. Obama won in a landslide.

Taxpayers are beginning to wonder if it really matters who really won the election! From the beginning, something didn't smell right about Obama, Acorn, Rev. Wright, (just to name a couple) in reference to the election in which people were allowed to vote that 'didn't work, never have worked, never intend to work, live off social and welfare programs' thus cancelling the hard-working Taxpayers vote! As for all the 'things' Obama stated he'd do, Taxpayers knew this was 'hype' and felt this was the most un-fair and discriminatory election in American History, since people were made to vote because Obama was Black. From what's been told, Obama is a much white as he is black, but this shouldn't have played a role in him getting elected! After all, he is very inexperienced, and his 'cabinet groups' are all the former Clintons buddies and tax evaders and shouldn't be allowed anywhere near Taxpayers properties, let alone Taxpayers' monies, so this makes him even more undesirable and another 'HUGE TAX & SPEND', and it's now showing up, isn't it!
America has far too many things wrong, created by the tax and spenders, and Obama stating "he'd solve all these problems in his first year in office is a real joke! NOW, he states "it'll take him the next four years!" Guess what, folks, until the politicians cut their salaries and retirements to $12,000.00 yearly, cut the social and welfare programs, it's going to take more than 25 years to 'fix' what they've done to America!
"Group shifts focus to entrepreneurship"noting that UNCG starting new programs. I'm quoting "One aimed at undergraduates, and anyone with college degree!" If you take a look around, the ‘fat cats' in government always hire these people to make statements like "We're putting people back to work", when in essence they're only creating bigger goverment with no stability! It's now a proven fact, you can get all the degrees you want, but without ‘common sense', ‘getting your hands dirty', and actually working in a business from sweeping the floors to answering the phones (I do mean answering phones when they ring), you're backing up! It's going to take more than talent! Hard labor and long hours come to mind. Looking like you just stepped off the front page of a magazine won't be happening, so get over it!
I've written many articles over the years about the Heartbeat of our America! Until Textile and Manufacturing jobs are brought back to America there's absolutely no need for government, let alone bigger government, as these were the ‘working with your hand jobs' that used to be the backbone and stability of our country.
Let's look at economics, my way! Fast Foods, Donut & Coffee Shops, Bars, Saloons and many more come to mind (service oriented, not manufacturing anything), but I'm trying to make a point! Leases/Rents, furnishings, heat, lights, water, and licenses/permits have to be paid whether you get a business up and running in 3-5 years or not. Just opening the doors to public, ordering food or supplies for your new business cost money. After all, there's only so much you can charge for a cup of coffee, donut, biscuit, and manicure! This is why the overhead of these type businesses will never be profitable!
Let's see if I can explain this further! Our forefathers worked long, hard hours using their hands, horses and crude tools. Raising and pulling cotton to put clothes on their backs, curtains, and later provide material coverings for furniture (that we no longer have in America). Using hoes and mules to provide gardens. Raising cows, hogs and chickens to provide for their families. The new type American thinks all they have to do is get a degree so they don't have to get their hands dirty! Well, I hate to burst your bubble, but that degree is a piece of paper, and if you have acquired none of the traits, used by your grandparents and great grandparents, you're useless in America!
The Amish Community should always be proud that they've maintained a world, filled with the best of everything, and to know that they've done all they do without destroying our earth! America needs more Amish folks and less Al Gores and big government!
