Reading your column I thought what a wonderful book to read -- and then the funniest story. Quinn's sense of entitlement made me cringe. Traveling back to the brothel and calling for the working woman --- "piece of crap" in Quinn's mind to be tested. What a jerk.

We all have certain disabilities we must overcome. In some cases it is being perfectly handsome and intelligent and constantly having everyone tell us that because of that we should do more in life than we have already accomplished. In all cases, we tend to fall short of the glory that people espouse for us. There is no problem with that. Even those who, like cream, rise to the top often have personal failures that only they are aware of and have inner demons with which to deal. And then there are those like Quinn who rise above the cream. I look forward to reading his book.
