Kudos to Dr. Greiner.
As a male I feel I can never reach equality with women. I can't bear children and have them call me 'mother'.

Dear Ms. Estrich,
I read your article this morning regarding the Nobel prize peace choice of President Obama. I want to thank you for an insightful commentary on this issue.
I hear and read so much criticsm of our President; to read your column is a breath of fresh air.
President Obama didnt exactly apply for this prize and people dont seem to realize this! I agree with you, it is nice that the rest of the world is on our side for a change.
thanks again.

As an American I am very proud that Dr. Greiner was award this for her research in an area that will benefit millions of people around the world. America is one country that has many women in the business, science, education and government areas that other countries envy, but, we still have a long way to go for the equality in the work spaces. Hopefully Dr. Greiner winning the Nobel will help in this regard.

"But do women "do" science differently? Might they be — inherently — less capable or less able, as former Harvard President Larry Summers famously suggested?"

Maybe we remember this quote differently. I heard him ask "if" not "suggest" women have differences from men. Duh?! D'ya think?

Don't you get tired of writing essentially the exact same article over and over again?
