Sir;...Where do you get off with calling capitalism: democratic capitalism????..If if ever two ideas were incompatable, those of democracy and capitalism are, incompatible...You might as well talk about dry water as democratic capitalism... It is double speak, and you must certainly know it... You only want to associate capital with an accepted good, when everyone knows by now, even if subconsciously so, that capital is ruining them, and putting everything this country stands for at risk.. Either democracy will triumph, or capital will; but two such contradictions cannot exist together except in the same meaningless phrase...Thanks...Sweeney

Too late Kudlow. Way too late. If you really cared about saving the American way of life, which is what you are really trying to wail about now, your tears would have poured through the flood gates when BushCheney stole the election 9 long years ago. That's when all the disintegration of the bedrock principles you pine for began. We're in the repair, rebuild, and figure out what we have left phase now. All those crooks, charlatans, and con artists (well, most of them, anyway) who BC nourished with such utter devotion are scattering like cockroaches under the lights we have finally found the switches to. The precious farmhouse of mythical America has been foreclosed on and auctioned off.
And Mr. Sweeney, I know you're pissed at him (he's just using the internet to offload a pile of toxic waste--isn't there a fine for that?) but don't let that cloud your message. It's not a crime to buy and sell things. That's what capitalism ultimately is. How that's done is what determines whether the system has been hijacked or not, which it has. It think that's what you're saying. Cheers. Len
