Your humble trivia author has many pleasant memories of listening to worldwide shortwave radio stations as a teen. That's why we're glad that, even in the Internet Age, the Voice of America (VOA) is alive and well, thank you. In 1994, VOA became the first broadcast news organization to offer continuously updated programming on the World Wide Web.
