I am a poker dealer. Your tipping info is mostly wrong. We can not control the cards. If you don't win a single pot, I will not expect a dollar. However any pot's profit you do win, at any point, with exceptional service, should be rewarded with a %5 or higher tip. If you can't do that, don't play the game. Stick to online poker. One of 2 things are going to happen. Either the good dealers are going to leave the casino or the house will increase the rake and start compensating for low pay. As is, my casino rakes 10% with a max of $5 / pot. Of which we get $3 an hour.
