This is in response to "Crying, in Knoxville, TN, The women doesn't say whether she was partially to blame for her parents split-affair? As for the daughter "getting over it", I wouldn't count on it. My sisters ex-husbands family sued their step mother of 25 years for money from their dad after he died. They had always gotten along with the stepmother. This wasn't one of those rich families, either. They were each given $4000.00 each, but they wanted more, and didn't think their step-mother deserved anything. Their first mother died, and their dad remarried after about 4 years or so after her death. The stepmother worked during the whole marriage, even after he retired. Both sides only ended up giving all their "inheritance money" on attorneys, so neither side made out. Of course, there is now bad feelings on both sides, that probably won't ever be "gotten over".
