LW1: Another set of parents who are saints and their children are sooooooo bad to them and the parents do not deserve it. Whatever.

I wonder why SHE waited so long to contact her kids? Why was she expecting just them to do the calling and visiting? I can imagine the conversation. Mom calls up out of the blue asking what's going on? Did she throw in a few accusations too? Unfortunately my own kids don't live close by but if they did I would be extenting dinner invitations every couple weeks if I hadn't heard from them. If Mom has waited so long to contact her own sons them she obviousy doesn't contact her grandchildren either. That would explain why only one has a relationship with her and her husband. As for helping out the other son during his divorce, did you do it in silence or help out while telling him everything he has done wrong and how horrible his wife was to you? There is more going on here than she wants to admit.
