Why do you do this? You sound like servants, not parents. Do your kids really need lessons in everything? Can they walk, ride bikes, take the bus?
If you actually want to be your kids' chauffeur, it's churlish to complain about it. And if you don't want to, you need to set some limits.
Also, have you made it clear to your kids that the rest of the world is not there to wait on them and fulfill their every wish the way you do? After they leave home, will the rest of us have to raise them and teach them to respect others, since you neglected to do that?

I was reading the Pickup and Drop-Off Story. As I read it, it makes me think of our lives. We started with 4 children at home and now the only one left at home is our youngest but I soon realize that she will be gone soon, she is a Senior in High School and will be leaving for college. We were once there driving our children everywhere and yes you get tired and you do a lot of running around but enjoy it while you can!! Because one day you will wake up and they will be grown up and will be moving out. I often sit in the living room looking at all their pictures and I remember....How I miss being a taxi, chauffeur or just needed. They are grown, starting their own lives and sit here in a 4 bedroom house so quiet that I can say that I hear their voices coming out of the walls at times and brings a tear to my eyes. So all I can say to you is how jealous I am of you right now.
A Mother
