My mother, on the other hand, is a miserable, bitter woman. When I was 16, I was raped and it resulted in a pregnancy. Make your point without slamming Monica. I think she has suffered enough for her indiscretions.
Pants are cut very low nowadays and one can't always help that they go down in back when you sit.

I agree with oregonchick. What makes anyone think we want to see their underwear hanging out? It is disgusting, and in a restaurant, it is appetite-stealing. I find it very telling the young woman acknowledges no impropriety on her part.

As for the woman who was humiliated by the man who informed her that her underwear was visible from behind while she sat at lunch... Is it possible that he felt compelled to tell her because the sight of her panties (and who knows what else) hanging out in the restaurant wasn't all that appetizing to him or his lunch companions?
No, she couldn't tuck a napkin in the back, but how about retiring to the ladies' room to adjust her clothing? Hanging her jacket - or her boyfriend's jacket - on the seat behind her? Unless she was for some reason rendered immobile, she DID have an opportunity to show less of her unmentionables. Instead, she chose to fume at the man who notified her of her gaffe.
