I've seen this photo before - of the divers at a table. It was a silly publicity stunt by the government of Maldives, who are chicken-little that "global warming" is going to melt the icecaps and put their archipeligo underwater. Except there's been no warming in the last decade - a slight cooling in fact - and in any case, no credible, peer-reviewed evidence whatsoever that mankind is causing (or even capable of causing) a net rise in the Earth's average atmospheric or sea-surface temperature. Meaning that even if the aggressive, draconian, economy-strangling actions recommended by some climatologists (like Kyoto or Obama's cap-n-trade) were implemented, it may have no effect on global temperature at all! Meaning that if the Earth really is getting warmer, that the millions of people will be thrown out of work / have their standards of living reduced, all so that Maldives will be flooded anyway! It has never occurred to the advocates of the man-made-global-warming (MMGW) theory that the Sun and its fluctuating levels of solar activity might actually be the culprit which drives global temperatures.
