Dear Larry: I was reading your column this morning regarding the man who is trying to create minority friendships. I really liked your answer.

I don't have many minority friends, and I am not a racist. I don't have minority friends because those friendships just haven't blossomed because of my way of life.

I have home-schooled all three of my children since birth, and we just don't meet many minority home-schoolers. However, my oldest son plays on the local high-school basketbal ...

If Robin, the home-schooling mom, is reading this, PLEASE go to your local public library and rent the video, "Race:The Power of an Illusion". Watch the third one especially ("The House we Live In") and you will see why, whether or not slaves were owned, the access to wealth has its basis in ownership of land and the "guilt" comes from realizing the injustices that have been perpetuated in this area. signed, white chick--not guilty--but aware of my complicity!
